Who, What, Why.

Exploring, Examining, and Appreciating the Creation, Business, and Market of the Art World at large.

Old Girl Art is an online space dreamed up by artist Eliza Palmer. Eliza formed Old Girl Art to create a space for articles, posts, and art to be authored and published without limitations. We post when we can, about what we want, and with whom we get the chance to collaborate. We work with, for, and alongside numerous sectors of the art world to investigate, explain, and enjoy all that makes up this ever-evolving ecosystem.

Old Girl Art got its name from the affectionate pet name used for a beloved barnyard animal, such as a beloved, old mare being lovingly called ‘Old Girl’. Eliza, who spent a portion of her childhood in a barn, greatly appreciates the importance of trusted, consistent, and beautiful relationships formed with such dependable creatures.

She wishes for Old Girl Art to provide this same support and sentiment to those who are willing to share their work with the world.
